Eight For Long

You have eight minutes. That's all.

Trapped in a sealed underwater facility, you're not a hero who runs and fights — you're a set of hands and a ticking clock. Everything happens by mouse click: move between rooms, talk to the crew, solve their problems. But every single interaction costs time, and the countdown at the top of the screen is the only currency you have.

The catch: you can never help everyone.

  • The Cat needs a wrench before it'll help you. Later, when the bomb starts its one-minute timer, you'll need to find where the cat ran off to — it's the only one who can defuse it. Take it with you at the end, or leave it behind.
  • The Robot wants power from the engine room. Track down the key, the battery, sort out its wiring puzzle — then it finally gives up a code. Different robots, different codes.
  • The Apprentice is greedy. Fix his problem, run his books back and forth, then survive his quiz — every wrong answer bleeds five seconds off your clock.
  • The Garden is a full production line: seeds, water, fertilizer, then a minute to grow and thirty seconds to cook.
  • The Crystal in the engine room can be wired straight into the sub — and doubles the speed of time itself. Reward, or ruin?

Every task has a price you can estimate. None of them pay into the same pocket. So the real game isn't solving puzzles — it's deciding, the second you spawn, who's worth your time and who gets left in the dark. The countdown isn't atmosphere. It's the whole economy, and every crew member is a stall charging a different rate.

Who will you make time for?

Awesome game! It’s a little difficult to get into at first, but the atmosphere is tense, and the music is very immersive.

Very tense and oppressive!
